Register for MLX10 now!

We close registrations at midnight tonight, 11 November 2010.

If you miss out, no fear, you can still pay at the door for each event.

How much is a full pass?

Just $110.

The whole thing actually costs $145, but pass-holders pay $35 less for 4 nights, 6 dance events, 4 swing bands and a competition for your entertainment!

How much is a volunteer pass?

If you help out at MLX, then it’s $95. That’s $50 off what it’d cost you to pay at the door for the whole weekend. Just indicate when you register for MLX that you wish to volunteer.

What does a pass get me?

The right to flash us at the door (with your pass) for 4 nights in a row.

Thursday: Welcome night at Estonian House with the Yvette Johanssen Band ($20)
Friday: The ‘Temple of Doom‘ Maharajah’s-Palace-themed evening for the Australian Hellzapoppin’ Prize, accompanied by Jason Downes and the Tempo of Doom. ($35) followed by the late night afterparty ($15)
Saturday: The ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark‘ Wartime / 1930s-themed USO dance at Essendon Airport, featuring the Esstee Big Band ($35), with a shuttle bus to the late night afterparty ($15)
Sunday: The last hurrah, finished with a bang by the JW Swing Orchestra ($25)

How do I register for MLX10?

You can register for passes online or register in person with one of us on the MLX10 team. Contact mjdarego@gmail.com to arrange a meetup.

How do I pay you?

  • via PayPal
  • via money order or cheque by mail. Details are in your confirmation email.
  • cash directly to an MLX10 team member, using a paper registration form
  • by direct debit. Details are in the confirmation email sent to you after you register. Contact mjdarego@gmail.com if you haven’t received yours.

When will I receive my pass?

You should receive your pass in a rego pack by 20 November, unless you’ve arranged to pick it up on the MLX10 weekend itself. Contact us on mjdarego@gmail.com to organise venue pickup or make a comment in your registration.

What if I forget my pass?

Then you will perform a special forfeit. We hope you like monkey brains.

But really, please bring your pass with you to each MLX10 event! It gets you through the door quicker and helps our fearless volunteer doorpeople with their job.
